Balcarce Tower

The main brief was to reach a balance between layout efficiencies and the client’s request to achieve a round building.
Circular shapes are not the first choice to work with if the functionality and budget are a big part of the equation, hence an orthogonal building with circular balconies was born, delivering the illusion of the desired form.
Another interesting point to remark was the conservation of the old existing façade. The previous building had a strong presence in the neighborhood so I decided to keep it as a tie between the old identity and the contemporaneous look the project strives to achieve.
