The brief was to design a single storey home in where the social space and private where well define and separate. The benefit of designing in a rural area without site constrains, allowed north facing light and ventilation to all habitable rooms, while services and garage occupy the south/west side. 

Another characteristic was that the project needed to be relatively a cheap build without compromising the size of the rooms. Therefore the design was conceived with a strong modular principle that corresponds with the selected construction technology.
